About Me
A few years ago, when I started my corporate career, all I knew is that I needed a means to survive and break the cycle of poverty for myself.
A situation that most of Kenyan youth are in. The job doesn’t have to be a good fit for us, we strive to be a good fit for the job and take it regardless of whether it aligns to our purpose.
I had no life plan. I only had an abstract idea on what represented a good life for me but not a clear picture of what was good for me and how I would achieve it.
Barely 3 years into corporate, I crashed. This was no ordinary burnout. It was a cry from me to me, to REMEMBER.
To recall who I truly am and put myself back together. I got the much-needed support of a therapist and a coach (yes, it took more than one intervention for me) and I did remember.
I remembered that people are my purpose and that my voice and influence were meant to be used to serve. I have since diversified my skills and acquired coach training to help me serve.
I have been through a journey that has seen me appreciate the fullness of life.
While prioritizing wellness, I am unlearning and learning what is good for me, for others and for the universe.
I still invest in the guidance of a coach and mentorship even as I continue giving because I too need a full cup
